Female Study 1894

This was my second order from 1st-Art-Gallery - I was very pleased with the first order and commissioned two additional paintings. To date I have six reproduction oils from 1st-Art-Gallery, and no doubt will order more in the future.

Commenting on all six to date, I would say all are close renditions of the originals. The softness of Renoir's "Bather with Long Hair" was captured beautifully. Goya's "Naked Maja" was just as I remembered her (and photographed her) at the Prado. The "Massage Scene at Hammam" now occupies a prominent place in our massage room, while Monet's "Young Girl In The Garden At Giverny" is prominently displayed behind our sculptures of macaws in yellow flourite in our formal dining room. The "Four Ages of Man" motivates my exercise in our gym (to remain at the third age as long as possible), and "Nude Standing Before a Mirror" hangs next to our full-length mirror in the master bathroom, to remind us that our bodies are to be examined and appreciated.

These pieces, which bring us as much viewing pleasure as if we had the originals which we could never afford, are a true bargain for someone seeking the beauty of the art of the great masters, while not having to spend the tens of millions of dollars those would cost.

As we have traveled the world appreciating art, the chance to have reproductions of great pieces we have appreciated in famous galleries is truly a rewarding experience.
