I wanted to let you know that the three paintings arrived at our home safely. After unpacking them, and viewing them for the first time "for real" rather than as a digital pictures, it was crystal clear that:

(a) at no time did the digital pictures that I received do justice to the beauty of the actual paintings.
(b) all three pictures are beautiful in their own right, independent of a comparison with digital pictures of the actual artist's originals.

On behalf of my wife and I, I want to thank you for the patience you had with me for giving you feedback on the various stages of the painting. We think it was really worth the wait, even although we missed the Christmas gift moment. We are in the process of framing them, and we are sure that many eyes will admire them, once hung on the walls in our house.

My wife is especially fond of the Lievens Vanitas painting, since it brings back such strong memories of the original that we saw at the Museum of Art in Milwaukee.

I want to commend you (and your colleagues) on your expertise and craftsmanship. And I am sure now, that we want to commission more paintings with you.
